Yeah it's come to the point where I think everyone's sick of the whole "catch up with Vat while she's still in town" fever... I've been catching up with everyone during the past 2 to 3 weeks, where everyone's anticipating my departure from this winter burdened country... unfortunately for them and myself, I'm still here and taking it easy... not bad not bad I must say...
However, the end is near, I received my COE today and I went to the Japanese Consulate in Melbourne so they can put the visa onto my passport. Picking that up on Tuesday for a definite departure from Melbourne on Thursday 14th, no maybes this time. Hence I'll be able to celebrate my birthday this year with loved ones, which was one of my biggest worries heading off to Japan, how to celebrate my birthday... Well since that's out of the way and I'm not leaving until next Thursday, it seems that I will be going to Sydney for 2 nights before I head off to Japan. Talk about cutting things close, but at least I'll have 3 days in Melbourne to pack before I leave.
Anyways before all that, I have to start packing for Sydney.. leaving 11.15am tomorrow!
